On this day we will pick you up at your hotel at 4am. Next, we will go to the train station, where we will depart at 6:10am. From Ollantaytambo, the trail follows the Urubamba River until we reach Km104, where we will begin our hike. Along the way, you will see spectacular views of farmlands, snow-capped mountains, and the mighty Urubamba River, which is one of the sources of the Amazon River. Once at Km 104 (2,000m), we will begin our hike. We will provide you with refreshments and take a group photo before visiting our first Inca site. Weather permitting, we will have stunning views of Machu Picchu, the Urubamba River, and other surrounding Inca sites. After hiking for three hours, we will reach the most beautiful Inca site on the Trail: Wiñay Wayna (Forever Young) at 2,600m/8,500ft. Most people have the chance to see an elaborate water fountain, temples, some agricultural products and terraces, which offer a perfect opportunity to learn about the history of the Incas, the back of this site overlooks a cliff, with beautiful mountains surrounding the area. A few minutes away we will find the campsites, people doing the Classic Inca Trail will spend the night there, here we will provide you with a hot lunch. Cooked to order by one of our chefs. You will be able to
refill your water container and have time to rest after lunch, from Wiñay Wayna, we will walk to the Sun Gate, where we will see the picturesque landscape of Machu Picchu, an advantage of this trek is that by the time you get to Machu Picchu, the travelers will have left, leaving the entire area for the people on this tour, after taking photos, we take the bus to Aguas Calientes and head to your hotel. Next, we will go to Indio Feliz for dinner (included). This restaurant is considered the best in Aguas Calientes. After dinner, we recommend going to bed early to make the most of the next day.
