Inca Jungle 4D
This day we will be picked up from our hotel around 6 a.m. from Cusco heading to the Abra Malaga pass (4,300 meters above sea level) where we will begin the descent by bike (biking). After approximately 3 hours of descent enjoying beautiful views and crossing several altitudinal levels we will arrive at the town of HuamanMarca where the first activity ends and then continue by bus towards the town of Santa Maria where we will enjoy a delicious lunch at our local restaurant. In the afternoon we will begin rafting for about 3 hours in one of the safe sections of the Vilcanota River. This is one of the most fun activities and we only offer it during the "dry" season in Cusco (March to December). At night we will spend the night in a rustic accommodation in the middle of the mountain with a beautiful view of the Cusco jungle.

During this tour we will cross waterfalls, streams and plantations of fruits and tubers typical of the area. We will also be able to witness the diverse flora and fauna of the place, different species of exotic birds, as well as a wide range of orchids and fruit trees such as bananas, oranges, avocados and coffee, among others. Remember the Inca Jungle tour crossing the edge of the jungle, in the afternoon we will arrive at the Cocalmayo hot springs where we can enjoy a few hours in this famous thermal-medicinal water resort. After this relaxing therapy we will be transported to our lodging located in the town of Santa Teresa where we will spend our second night. You can take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a ‘pisco sour’ in one of the town’s cosy pubs and establish lasting bonds of friendship with the group.

On this day you will learn a lot of history while taking a picturesque walk. Our guide will describe the details of the route taken by the great explorers who discovered Machu Picchu. In the morning you can go ziplining, also known as canopy, one of the most fun experiences of this tour, after enjoying the landscape and a short rest, we will descend to a checkpoint called “Hydroelectrica”, where a comforting lunch awaits us. Then we will continue the walk for approximately 3 more hours. It is probably the part with the best views and landscapes of the Inca jungle tour since you will be able to see splendid waterfalls from the glaciers, coca plantations and old bridges, among other attractions. This walk follows the train route until reaching Aguas Calientes, also known as ‘Machu Picchu Pueblo’ where we will spend the night in a comfortable local lodging at the foot of the archaeological complex, that night we will meet at a tourist restaurant where we will enjoy an exquisite dinner and together with the guide we will plan the next day's visit to Machu Picchu.
