Q’eros Karpay and Initiations: An Overview
The Q’eros Karpay are sacred initiations passed down by the Q’ero people, the last direct descendants of the Inca civilization. These rites, also known as Karpay, are energetic transmissions that connect individuals with the wisdom of the Andean spiritual tradition, aligning them with the forces of nature and the cosmos.
Who Are the Q’ero?
The Q’ero people live in remote Andean villages in Peru, preserving ancient rituals and knowledge. They are considered paqos (Andean shamans or wisdom keepers) who work with energy, nature spirits, and the sacred elements.
What Are Karpay?
Karpay are powerful initiations that awaken spiritual potential and deepen the connection to Pachamama (Mother Earth), the Apus (sacred mountain spirits), and the energetic lineage of the Andes. These initiations are often received through direct transmission from a paqo, passing sacred energy and knowledge into the recipient’s energetic field.
